Visit The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island for some fun agricultural events in Portland. Whether you need to find the perfect pumpkin for your jack-o-lantern or some spooky outdoor fun for your mind and body, this is an interesting and beautiful locale you won’t want to miss.
You can search for your pumpkin in one of their many patches or grab one directly from the Pumpkin Patch Market. The patch’s famous cow train rides, as well as traditional hay rides, run daily through October. Visitors can also enjoy a hay climbing pyramid, an authentic barn with farm animals, farm fresh produce for sale and much more.
Of course, The Pumpkin Patch’s true claims to fame are its two large corn mazes. 2013′s “Keep Portland Lost” Maize offers two miles of twists and turns through a 12 feet tall, 5-acre cornfield. For the brave souls willing to enter this year’s Haunted Corn Maize, be sure to look out for the ghoulish creatures that could be lurking around each and every turn.
